Shweta sat alone at the desk and cried her heart out. She forgot the time as she was so lost in her crying and in this process, she had cried for half an hour or even more. There was a pool of her tears on her desk. She could clearly see the reflection of her swollen red eyes.
Sighing at herself in despair, Shweta decided to go back to her room. It was around 11:30 am and she had still 3 more lectures to attend. But her drained out mind did not permit her to do so. Shweta started walking towards the gate deeply engrossed in her own little world. The trees were lush green with plenty of foliage, dripping with fresh drops of rain water. Roads appeared glistening clean due to a spell of rain. Fresh air brought in swooning fragrances from far about places. Romance was in the air and nature was at its peak of beauty. This sight calmed down the storm swirling in Shweta’s eyes a bit. As a nature’s lover, Shweta felt a bit good as nature would always embrace her mind & heart with love.
Shweta took an auto to home. Sitting inside, her mind started analyzing and calculating the possible reasons of this very ungrateful day. Splashing water on the roads, vehicles sped along which seemed to wash away all her hopes and aspirations about life. Wind felt chilling cold which was seemingly cool moments ago. Back to her room, Shweta changed into rather warm clothes and went to sleep.
She slept for more than normally she would do. None of her roommates asked about her health, for she had slept for around 4 hours that afternoon. Shweta woke up around 7 pm in the evening. She felt feverish and already had got a headache from last two days. An incurable headache due to swarming thoughts.
