While describing the feeling of 'Feel like doing nothing' can be tricky, it is even more tricky to get oneself out of the feeling. The feeling is very common and often sticky, it does not seem to go away easily. What should one do then to get rid of this feeling? Read on to find out.

Feeling like doing nothing all day and just spending time lying in the bed might be casual on the surface, but it might have deeper underpinnings that aren't visible outside. Whatever the reason might be, it is important to fish it out and assess it carefully. The occurrence of this feeling too often might be a matter of concern.

But before you delve into figuring the reasons out and stressing about the evident and hidden reasons, try to just focus on the very tiny things that you can probably do.

i. Roll it over: Surprisingly, giving in to the feeling and accepting the need for a break is actually healthy. Grab your pillow and have a nice nap or just relax on a couch while watching your favourite thing on the TV, anything might just work to give you the much-needed break.

ii. Get out and connect: Getting outside and connecting with nature has its own tremendous benefits. Tread around the garden or head to the nearest park for a relaxing and refreshing walk.

iii. Sorting through: Sorting through the emotions when everything else settles down helps to reach a concrete reason from where the feeling stems.

iv. Make a list: Draw up a list of things you could probably do easily like for example get a soothing shower, phone a friend, meditate or just listen to old beats.

Doing this might open the doors to good, old, and mellow memories, reminding you of the old school romance or people who were in your life for a brief period of time or people whom you've lost touch with. This can give your mind the much needed distraction and action.

Just be sure not to spend too much time catching up with old buddies in the spur of the moment created by the brushing off of dust from your treasure trove of fond memories.
